What Is the Xi-Amaru Republic?
An Indigenous nation of the Americas, established December 17, 2022, rebuilding the governance that denationalization interrupted.
The Xi-Amaru Republic is an Indian country established on December 17, 2022, on the continent of North America, with its own government, legal system and distinct cultural identity. It restores Indigenous governance for Indigenous peoples of the Americas, and the Aboriginal Ministry of Justice serves as its government administrative organization.
An Indian country that was established by Nnakina Xi-Amaru Fears (at the time named Nnakina Xi-Amaru) on December 17, 2022, situated on the continent of North America, characterized by its own government, legal system, and distinct cultural identity. It operates in accordance with the principles of self-determination, autonomy, and the protection of Indigenous rights, ensuring the preservation and advancement of its people’s heritage and sovereignty.
Restoration, not invention
Indigenous peoples of the Americas built nations, civilizations and governance systems long before colonization, including those historically known as the Olmec and Maya civilizations. Colonization disrupted how Indigenous governance was administered. It did not end the people, their identity or their lineage, and it did not end their right to govern themselves.
The Xi-Amaru people are rebuilding from denationalization. Much of the Republic’s present work restores what was interrupted: institutions, records and procedures are being built as the nation regains its functionality. The Republic’s way as an Indigenous people is its own, and that difference makes it no less Indigenous to the Americas.

Three levels of authority
Divine Authority. The Republic recognizes God as the source of authority and restoration. Isaiah 58:12 speaks of raising up the foundations of many generations.
Indigenous Authority. Indigenous peoples of the Americas hold the inherent right to govern themselves, independent of outside administrative systems.
Administrative Authority. The Aboriginal Ministry of Justice keeps governance working in practice: citizenship records, identity records and national administration.
“Indigenous peoples have the right to self-determination.”
“Indigenous peoples, in exercising their right to self-determination, have the right to autonomy or self-government in matters relating to their internal and local affairs, as well as ways and means for financing their autonomous functions.”
How the nation is structured
Divine Authority → Chief of the Xi-Amaru Republic → Aboriginal Ministry of Justice → national departments and administrative systems → citizens and nationals. The Republic governs; the Ministry administers. Read The Role of the Aboriginal Ministry of Justice.
Gratitude toward neighbors
The Republic is grateful for the work member states have done where its people live, and for the work of other Indigenous nations. It does not define itself against anyone. Its purpose is to show who the Xi-Amaru are and to serve its people.
Begin the process
Tribal screening is the first step for anyone who believes they belong to the Xi-Amaru Republic.
